Initial Research

My main goal was to research and understand South Carolina's blue laws in order to create an effective ad campaign. I designed a visually cohesive Public Service Announcement (PSA) for the Ad Council, integrating outdoor advertisements, desktop, and mobile designs. Using striking imagery across three billboard ads, as well as digital platforms, the campaign aimed to raise awareness of the selected blue law in a compelling and engaging way.

Reflection

I started this blue laws project feeling unsure, especially with Figma, but quickly found excitement in researching, mood boarding, and developing my campaign’s identity. I embraced a 1960s all-American family aesthetic and pushed myself to create designs I’d personally find engaging. Looking back, I’m proud of how I overcame my challenges with Figma’s animation and UI design, ultimately producing work I truly enjoy!
